Students planning to transfer to a BSN program at a senior institution should follow the curriculum guidelines and application deadline dates specific to the transfer institution. All students planning to transfer should personally contact the School of Nursing of the transfer institution at least one full academic year prior to the projected date of transfer in order to meet admission requirements, curriculum prerequisites, application deadlines, etc. A maximum of 62 hours of course work may be transferred. The course includes detailed studies of: biological principles; tissues; and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular and nervous systems. Labs associated with this course contain experiments and exercises that reinforce the principles introduced in lecture classes. Three hours lecture and two hours laboratory.
