Tobacco-Free Environment

To promote a healthy environment for students, staff, faculty, and visitors, Northeast Mississippi Community College is tobacco-free on all campuses. The use of tobacco, electronic cigarettes, and smoking devices is not permitted on any Northeast Mississippi Community College-owned property, including buildings, grounds, parking areas, walkways, recreational and sporting facilities, and college-owned vehicles.

This policy applies to faculty, staff, students, contractors, vendors, and visitors. Tobacco use, including smoking, is prohibited in college facilities, outdoor areas, and college-owned vehicles, including Booneville, Corinth, Ripley, and New Albany facilities.
