BOT 1013 - Introduction to Keyboarding

3 Semester Hours
This course provides an introduction to basic word processing commands and essential skill development using the touch system on the alphabetic keyboard. Course emphasis will be on speed and accuracy when keying documents and timed writings. Upon completion of this class, the student must key 35 GWAM on a 5 minute timed writing, with a maximum of one error per minute which is a state requirement in order to advance to BOT 1113 - Document Formatting and Production
